Founded in 2016, Terre (Earth) is a UK artisanal hand-poured soy candle and home scent company.
Inspired by earth and naturally derived essences, our story is about bringing these beautiful fragrances to life.
L’ART
Terre is rooted in the art and complexity of fragrance. The hand-blended candles are designed to energise the senses and create an atmosphere of serenity and calm whether you choose one of our beautiful scents or collaborate with us to create your own personal scent. We offer a bespoke service to allow our clients freedom to create their own scents and choose their own presentation to create a truly unique product.
LA QUALITY
We only use pure raw material and source unique and special blends of fragrance (using sweet, floral, spicy and fresh fragrance oils) to create our candles using Soy wax. Natural, biodegradable, zero toxin and a renewable resource; Soy wax is not only more environmentally friendly than paraffin, with zero soot emissions it has a slower burn making it last longer. Our containers can be refilled by simply returning your empty holder and re-ordering your new scent.

The energy and symbolism of the earth is deeply rooted in Terre’s inspiration. Our logo symbolises the constant regeneration of energy, creation of newness and the fluidity of the elements that awaken our senses and inspire every scent we make.
our founder
Growing up in France, after studying economics Sandra felt a deep connection to the arts, developing her passion for painting. This passion for creating art as a personal release opened up a world of possibility where her creativity aligned with her desire to connect with others and she made the leap to become a make-up artist in London.
Understanding the connection and meaning between our senses and emotions became a backdrop to her creative life and whilst working as a make-up artist she began to explore her love for fragrance. Inspired by the way in which the calming energy and warmth of the humble candle could transform and create complexity within a fragrance, the concept of Terre was born.
Entwining the fabric of her own life to the story of others has driven Sandra’s vision. Inspired by her mother, Sandra began to blend candles to create bespoke moods and energy reflecting the connection between her and her client.
